REGISTER FOR ALICE DUNNIGAN: PIONEERING WHITE HOUSE REPORTER

Join us for a free program on the life and legacy of award-winning journalist Alice Dunnigan, the first African-American reporter to serve in the White House press corps.

A 6:00 p.m. reception will preceed the panel discussion featuring Dunnigan’s granddaughter and journalist Soraya Dunnigan Brandon, journalist and scholar Dr. Nancy Dawson, and Amanda Matthews, sculptor of the Donnigan statue that is currently on display at the Truman Library.

This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested.
