RSVP for the 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF EXECUTIVE ORDER 9981

Please join us for a program commemorating the 70th anniversary of Executive Order 9981 featuring Colonel (R) Norma J. Bradford in conversation with author Rawn James. The program will be preceded by a 5:30 p.m. reception in the museum's main lobby. 

James will sign copies of his book, Double V: How Wars, Protest, and Harry Truman Desegregated America’s Military, immediately following the program. Copies of the book will be available for purchase in the Truman Library’s gift shop. Truman Library members receive a 10% discount on all purchases.
